Class Descriptions:

 

Safe and Slow - Safe and Slow is open to everyone, but it is specifically geared for students whose mobility, balance, flexibility, and strength limitations require a more careful class. If you are too stiff or tight to join a "regular" class this is a good place to start! The pace is slower and we use more props to establity stability and access to the poses.  Advanced registration is required because we keep these classes small.  We provide everything you need - just wear comfortable clothing. 

 

Basic Series - This is a 8 week course designed to help you learn the basics.  We will work from the ground up to build a strong foundaton of the Principles of Alignment.  These session are for absolute beginners or seasoned practitioners looking to improve their practice and clarify their undertstanding of alignment, and they are also for anyone working with healing injuries or reducing pain. Advanced registration is required.

Level 1 - Beginners, experienced beginners.  These classes are appropriate for students new to yoga, for those students who would like a gentler practice, or for students who would like to expand their knowledge of the basic poses.

Level 2 - Expand your strength and flexibility.  It is recommended that you have at least one year of yoga experience or the teacher's permission.

All Levels  - These classes are open to experienced beginners to more advanced students. These are well-rounded classes with a wide repertoire of poses - students  are encouraged to work at their own level. Challenging postures and restful restorative poses will be sprinkled in as needed.

Level 2-3 - Take it to a higher level - these classes are open to students that have a good working knowledge of the Principles of Alignment and who are comfortable kicking up to Handstand at the wall and who are able to perform Full Backbend with straight arms. In these classes we will be working with more advanced postures including inversions and arm balances.

Drop In - Investment $16.00

Three month cards:

Five Classes - Investment $65.00*

Ten Classes - Investment $120.00*

Unlimited One Month - Investment $99.00

 

*Three month cards expire three months from date of purchase. 

Cards are transferrable but not refundable.

Our inviting spacious location at the Boat House overlooks Okanagan Lake.

Turner Road Studio - 753 Turner Road, Kelowna, B.C. - Classes here are held in a cozy neighborhood class setting. Maximum 8 students. 

 

Additional Offerings:

In Class Privates with Dana:

Dana is now offering In Class Privates! 

What are "In Class Privates"?  During a class that Pauline is teaching, you can hire Dana to be your Personal Coach for that class, and Dana will work "one on one" with you.  Before the class you can discuss with Pauline and Dana any particular poses that you would like to have assistance with, and we can ensure that the poses will be in that session.  You will be guided in each and very moment during the entire class as Dana skilfully enhances your alignment with your Optimal Blueprint.  Whether you are sitting, standing, or in a vinyasa flow you will be lead into balance to line up with your optimum energy flow in the poses.

Investment:  $85.00 per class (this includes the fee for the class)

In Class Semi Privates with Dana:

Same concept as above, except Dana will work with two students, switching from one to the other during a class that Pauline is teaching. 

Investment:  $45.00 per person per class (this includes the fee for the class)

 

Private Classes with Dana:

Dana also offers Private Classes.  These can take place in your home or at the Garage Studio. 

Investment:  $85.00 for 1.0 hour or $125.00 for 1.5 hours.
